The first great thing about the L505-GS5037 is it’s a brilliant entertainment laptop, you’ll enjoy marvelous effect with it, this is why so many people are crazy about it

The NB305-N410 isn’t the most attractive of netbooks , but it is sturdily built and looks professional despite the color choices. This Mini features a shiny, textured lid and a silver interior finish. The bezel around the screen, while a bit wide, has the same textured pattern as the lid and trackpad, which ties everything together nicely. The battery makes the back end of the NB305-N410BL netbook slightly thicker, but it is unobtrusively tucked underneath the chassis. The netbook has three USB ports (including a “sleep and charge” USB port that lets you charge devices while the computer is in sleep mode), an ethernet port, a VGA port, an SD card reader, and audio and microphone jacks.

The keyboard has a good size for a netbook, with chiclet-style keys that are laid out…a bit strangely. Despite the decent size, the keyboard is still a hassle to type on, as the keys are slightly off in their placing and wider than they are tall. The function buttons are absolutely tiny, as is the tab button. The spacebar is small, but functional, and the shift keys are a pretty good size.

The 10.1-inch LED-backlit widescreen has a native resolution of 1024-by-600 pixels, which is average for a netbook. The glossy screen is actually one of the better netbook screens I’ve seen, and was quite easy to read, even in bright sunlight. Colors are bright and images are sharp, but moving to either side causes some pretty glaring reflections. Viewing screens with dark backgrounds also causes a lot of reflection.

Overall, the Toshiba NB305-N410 is solid. It has a decently sized keyboard (even if it is a bit weird), a great big trackpad, and a very comfortable screen. It’s not great for playing back video or listening to music–though the speakers are louder than many netbooks’ speakers–and it won’t win you a ton of points in the style department. Toshiba also makes a lesser netbook that starts at $349; has a smaller, 160GB hard drive; runs Windows XP; and features a nonchiclet keyboard I actually found easier to use–the Mini NB305-N310.

The first drumming machines made is easy for anyone to create beats, add drums to songs and do professional demos without a live drummer.

Fast forward ahead to today and we have apps available for smart phones and tablet devices like the iPad that cost less than $10 bucks and can do everything those original drum machines could and more.

What are some of those apps you can get to create beats, drum loops and more on your mobile devices? This is exactly what we’ll discuss in this post.

Drum Meister

Drum Miester has a picture of a full assembled drum kit on screen. To play the drums all you do is click the image of the drum sound you want on screen. Making beats at first on an app like this feels a bit cumbersome, but the sample quality of each sound is fantastic and for simple high-hat, kick drum and snare beats it’s quite easy to use.

Vdrummer

Like Drum Mesiter there’s images of each drum from a full kit on screen in this app. By tapping the picture of the drum you want to play the sound will be played. An advantage of vDrummer is that rather then displaying an assembled drum kit on screen they have positioned the drums next to those that are most used. For example the snare, kick and high hat are right next to each other. This layout makes it far easier to quickly tap out beats which use the snare, kick and high hat.

Korg iElectribe

Unlike Drum Meister or vDrummer, iElectribe modeled after a drumming machine. You don’t need to know much about actually playing the drums with this device since you can easily program the beats you need and then play them back. This app best resembles a drum machine from companies like Boss and Roland most people would be familiar with. A down side to this app is that you can’t export or save the beats you create so you’ll want to record them if you can to an external laptop or digital recording device via the headphone output on your iPad or iPhone.

This is only 3 of the many apps available for drum beats, drummers and drum machines, but I feel it represents the best of what’s available. To get the most out of these apps you should have some knowledge of playing the drums and what makes a good beat.

Ready to learn more about playing the drums? Then take a look at some of the best dvd drum lessons. Courses like Learn & Master Drums make it easy to learn the basics and play multiple styles of drums entirely from home and on your own time.

The LG 32 LE5300 series launched by the brand is believed to be a step down from the LE5400 Series. Belonging to the smaller screen size category, the set is definitely better than its other counterparts in the small series. The flat panel features Full HD native resolution of 1080p that is not available in similar range models. This full display formatting plays a very vital role in making the picture quality ideal for viewing. The max resolution contributes significantly towards displaying clearer, sharper and crisper images.

The LED-backlit LCD display provided in the model further sets it apart from the smaller sets in the series. The back light technology offers a number of advantages over previously employed fluorescent tube backlights in form of improved dynamic contrast, wider color gamut and longer lifespan. Besides contributing significantly towards enhancing picture quality, it also ensures lower power consumption (due to elimination of mercury used in the fluorescent tubes). So, if you like environmental friendly products that help in conserving energy, LG 32LE5300 TV is one of the right options that you can go for. It will not only save significant amounts of energy but also result in low electricity bills.

The TruMotion technology provided in the LG 32LE5300 ensures you view all the fast paced action sequences clearly without witnessing any unwanted blurring or trailing in the frames. Unlike higher end models that are coming with 480Hz refresh rate, this flat panel features 120 Hz. This disparity does not cause much of difference and hence you can have all the fun watching smooth action sequences. The designing of the model is no less than any other high specification high end products. The sleek design, with slim bezel and glossy finish add up to the qualities of the model. Whether you mount it on wall or place it on a stand, it will definitely give a nice look to your room space.

Though equipped with many quality features, the set definitely lags behind other high end models on several fronts like local dimming and 3D technology. Due to these missing features, the LG 32LE5300 may fail to woo consumers who want all the latest features in their TV, but it will definitely win those who plan to go for a brand name that offers reasonable features at reasonable price.

The ASUS U30JC is the latest 13-inch notebook from ASUS offering the new NVIDIA Optimus switchable graphics. Offering the best of both worlds, Optimus allows seamless switching between the Intel GMA HD integrated graphics and the NVIDIA GeForce 310M dedicated graphics. For the average user this translates into great gaming performance and excellent battery life when your priorities are writing term papers or taking notes in class. Check out our in-depth review to see how the notebook performed in our tests.

Compared to the UL30A-A1 we reviewed in September 2009, the ASUS U30JC A1 looks similar but seems to have gained a little weight. The profile has changed from thin and sleek to rather average with the inclusion of an optical drive. The increased chassis size might also be related to the dedicated graphics card but that wouldn’t have affected the notebook size as much. The color scheme is darker gunmetal-grey instead of bright silver, a slight change from the UL30A. Inside the palmrest shares the same brushed metal finish as the lid and the keyboard surround painted plastic. Just like the UL30A, the screen bezel is glossy black. The keyboard is a Chiclet-style model, with matte black keys and silver lettering. I think the design looks excellent, and appeals to both average consumers and business professionals. The finish is also designed to look great over time, with the aluminum cladding resisting smudges and scratches.

The screen offered on the ASUS U30JC is a 13.3-inch LED-backlit 16:9 WXGA panel. The display rates slightly above average, with good color saturation and contrast thanks to a glossy surface. Black levels are good with no apparent backlight bleed at high brightness levels. However, the viewing angles don’t shine with this panel. Vertical viewing angles show a lot of distortion with as little as 10-15 degrees movement forward or back. Horizontal viewing angles are better, but still show signs of mild color inversion past 45 degrees. Backlight brightness levels were very good, even at the 70% level we like to use for battery tests. At 100% brightness, we recorded a value of 208cd/m2 with our light meter. Comfortable viewing levels in the office were 70-75% and 50-60% at home.

The ASUS U30-series offers a large Chiclet-style keyboard that is very comfortable to type on. The palmrest seems to be perfectly-sized even for my large hands with a soft edge on the front that prevents pressure to your wrist. The keys are very responsive with a nice springy action on each press. The individual keys in U30JCA1 appear to be almost flat, but a straight edge over the surface shows a very small cup to the center of each key. The texture is a rough matte finish, and doesn’t attract finger prints or smudges.
